Big News in Sean Land

I had an interview at Target HQ on Wednesday. It went OK. I was told that I would hear something by the end of next week either way. I woke up today at about 1 pm and had a missed call and message on my phone from the Target recruiter's number. I listened to the message and she said I should give her a call back. I was in no hurry. I watched Andy kill some people in GTA4, I had a protein shake (BRO SCIENCE APPROVED!!!) and I took a shower. I called her back and she informed me that they wanted to offer me a position. She asked if I wanted to think it over. Of course I didn't. Now pending a drug test tomorrow, I will have a rather real job in the corporate world.

I am very excited. It has been 3 years and 3 days since I graduated from college. It felt like I would never get something close to a legitimate job. After 14 months at the hotel I put in my 2 week notice today. I will be finished on June 3rd here and will start at Target July 11th. I plan on relaxing those 5 weeks. I am going to head out to California for a week sometime in June to relax and enjoy the weather out there.

Who knows if this is something that I am going to follow a career in. All I know is that it is a merchandising specialist position and it is something different that will allow me to work with other people my age in the downtown area. I am looking forward to it. No I will not miss customer service at all. Though, it has definitely made me a better person and has given me valuable lessons and skills on on you should treat people.

We will never know the people who did this because they are professionals. They do their shit and that is that. No shitty hand held camcorder needed, no terrible cassette tape recording (I do appreciate the nostalgia though, loved the mix tapes over the last 10 years). They killed you and probably had a beer and then are getting ready for their next high value target. That's just how the CIA/Special Forces operate.

You attacked us and ranted about how our values are so skewed and how our money and liberal ways are why you hate us. Dude, you got murked at a mansion. See the irony? How will your followers feel about that? You are just as fake as any other person in power that doesn't want to get their hands dirty.

I am still extremely saddened for the fact that our troops are in Afghanistan with no end game. Can we please get them home? They are not protecting my freedom in that sandbox.

I had to write something on my thoughts of these events because I got a lot of emotions flowing in over the news.
