Ohh boy my marathon training went to hell in a hand basket faster than you can say "sure i'll landscape with you tyler". I took up a job with tyler, that I thought would last shorter than it has. Honestly it isn't tyler's fault. It is my weak mindedness and my lack of mental toughness as to not getting my runs in.
The big day is 24 days away and I got to get my ass running. My confidence is low and low and continues to drop. It kinda sucks because I can run for 6 miles no problem and enjoy it, but after 6 my mind starts to wander and then I get bored, along with my legs giving me the fuck you and start to shut down. It kinda sucks and I am already thinking that I will be running another marathon within the next year because this one will definitely not be the best of my potential.
I am going to train with as much mileage as I can for these last few weeks and see how the marathon goes. One of my original goals was to not walk at all, but that will probably be thrown out the window at some point in the race. Hopefully it won't, but I won't be upset if I do happen to walk at some point.
I am stressing over this a little bit because I know that I was killing training and now i'm not. It is a disappointing realization, but one that I need to get over so I can do the best to wrap up some high mileage before whatever kind of taper I can get before the race. Stay tuned. I am hoping to get 10 in tomorrow and then try for 20 on saturday. That 20 will be a combo of walking and running and crawling and whatever else I need to get that distance.
I will write a life update one of these days, but this marathon thing has been eating away at me for the last couple weeks. Its like a dark cloud over my head and it is a bummer. I must prevail though. I gotta find that intestinal fortitude and fight and claw to get my miles in! CARPE DIEM! RUBBERS BALLS AND LIQUOR!
A Blog about my life. Topics are all over the place, but you can expect a fair share of sports and fun. Enjoy. Leave a comment if you want... or don't.

You will do great Sean.
I am pretty impressed with the all of the hard work you have already put into training, I don't know if I would be able to stay that focused and dedicated towards an awesome goal like running a marathon. Don't worry, you'll find your rhythm, even if you don't run at the pace you had planned, it will be a great accomplishment.
