My Mom

About 2 weeks ago my Mom was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer metastatic to her liver. It was tough news to get, but after the initial shock and grief wore off I realized that this isn't a death sentence. My Mom is a strong lady who has been through some shit. She has always been extremely confident, selfless, caring, positive, compassionate, and optimistic. Ever since she was diagnosed shes has been nothing but normal. She has been so calm and positive. I am so proud of her demeanor. I greatly miss her, but know that she will battle through this as hard as she can. She has good a chance as anyone in beating this.

She had successful surgery today to remove the mass from her colon. I believe the next plan of action is chemotherapy to her liver. Basically she decided to fight cancer on legendary mode. Why play if you aren't challenged right? :-)

The people who have met her know how kind and caring she is. They know how much she cares about other people and is always one to help out in any way possible. I just ask that she be kept in your thoughts and prayers as she battles through this.

I love you all,

Sean

Sean - my heart goes out to you and the fam. Jazzy Jeff is in full support of a strong fight and complete recovery. Your Mom is so awesome and your family is a solid unit.

I have faced the wrath of lesser women, and if I were cancer I would be scared of a strong lady like Mrs. M.
