Day 3

Well day 3 is coming to a close and not too much is new here. Wink the cat is such an awesome cat. If i go to sleep I wake up with him at my feet. If I am watching tv he comes and lays on my stomach. What a cool, affectionate cat. I should bring the devil jessi over here and let Wink show her how to behave to people who love her.

I have watched the first season of oz and it is a solid show. I'm still waiting for it to get really good, but the character development is definitely unique in the sense that they are prisoners and trying to make it one day at a time.

The sags where tonight. 30 rock killed it again. I don't understand that at all. Alec Baldwin is not funnier than steve carroll. He just isn't, it is as simple as that. 30 rock isn't more funny than the office either. I'm considering just stopping with 30 rock all together. I love tracy morgan though because he is insane. It does piss me off that everyone thinks it is the greatest show ever. Well guess what? It isn't, done and done.

I have started to listen to podcasts. I has listened to bill simmons bs report on and off since it commenced. This past fall I started listening to Stuff you should know which is very informative about all different kinds of enjoyable topics such as "how to live off the grid", "how delta force works", "the best place to get shot", etc. The dudes who do it are cool and seem like they have the greatest jobs ever, probably because they do. I just started listening to "This American Life" which is from Chicago publicradio and hosted by a dude named ira glass. The first episode i listened to was right before the inaugeration so i was already a little obama'ed out, but it held my attention for an hour from their different interviews with average people and also an interesting look at a company that started manufacturing both candidates (mccain and obama) shit back in the spring and how they grew from 5 employees to 500. Obviously now they just have obama shit and are letting people go everyday. It is supposed to be a good little snapshot of america, and since I love america more than most I figured that I would become a listener.

On tap for tonight/tomorrow is watch some oz, listen to some aussie open on the comp (no espn2 here) and possibly watch some my name is earl. Does anyone else watch that show? I feel like it is a show that people just don't watch even though it is very enjoyable. I can find joy in many things though, so maybe it isn't that good.
